SS25 Paris Fashion Week Recap!
Hello Everyone,
Here we are again! I was very excited to find time to travel this September to Spain for 8 days of painting and touring the mountain villages of Northern Spain for a little vacation and R&R with my family and friends. Unfortunately, I had to leave earlier than everyone else because work was calling me to Paris to my Home Away From Home for Spring/Summer 2025 Fashion Week.
I’ll do another Liz’s Closet in a few weeks to tell you the wonderful details of my trip to Northern Spain and what my wardrobe required — which was a totally different climate than Paris.
I left for Paris from Santiago, Spain the afternoon of September 24th with a little rain cooling it down to a fall weather pattern.
Therefore, I pulled out my AODRESS Dark Brown Tunic Dress over a Blue/ Brown Check pant accessorized with a small beaded AODRESS Bag perfect for my passport, wallet and phone.
My first day in Paris was a free day to review the stores and prepare for the week. The Buyers were either going to their appointments or shopping the stores which we all do while in Paris.
Yes!! We all carry totes or backpacks while we work the Market.
It was raining so I wore a washed black Denim Tunic over a light weight, cashmere slate grey legging from Frenckenberger with a black boot. My raincoat was a yellowish tan lined in light weight brown shearling that is reversible and not heavy from 45R
The perfect bold colorful scarf was my key accessory.
I was lucky to have dinner with my dearest friends before they needed to leave for a wedding out of France. We met at a small French restaurant and yes it was raining, so I had on a light-weight brown cashmere long dress from Frenckenberger worn with a long black cashmere sweater coat also from Frenckenberger. I complimented it with a french blue cashmere scarf.
“ SEA ESCARGOT “
Incredible sea escargot at a truly perfect French Restaurant called “SOCES”.
My second day started out with a cafe latte, orange juice, and croissants delivered to my room.
I had appointments, so I wanted to be comfortable. I threw on my brown dot Tunic over my brown dot Gina Pant from AODRESS. To pull it all together I put on my Gray/Brown Flower Basket light-weight Coat from AODRESS with a Hot Orange Scarf.
My fashion statement was neutral base pieces with a BOLD ORANGE SCARF.
I met other buyers for drinks and dinner downstairs so I kept it easy and comfortable with a Rundholz Red Wine Raccoon Sweater over a black legging from Frenckenberger. Plus a deep black cashmere scarf.
I needed a Fuzzy Sweater for a key fashion statement!
My Third day began to get busier so once again comfort was a must. I wanted some color so it was a no brainer, I put on my lapis blue Dress, yellow sweater, and a brown French collar Coat once again for BOLD COLOR.
Dinner was with friends at the Hotel so I wore a black/brown Check Dress with black embroidery on the bottom over the ratt brown Pant from AODRESS.
Day 4: Once again working and beginning to key into the new vendors for Spring/Summer. It stopped raining and it was a little humid so I chose my Sham Check outfit from AODRESS and it was perfect for a humid day.
Dinner was easy with a friend so I was in my reversible Sham Purple/Brown Check Tunic over a Floral Pant.
Day 5: Finalizing My orders Today! Can’t wait to show you what is new for Spring/Summer 2025.
I’m wearing Kristensen Du Nord in my Grey Turtleneck and Skirt!
Day 6: On My WAY HOME!
Comfy Rundholz is the ticket for a comfy flight back home in a black Sweater with Skirt Leggings in black and my yellow Balloon Coat from Frenckenberger if needed in Jackson Hole!
See you in a few weeks to tell you about my wonderful Spain trip! Take good care.
-Liz
